Scene 3 - Of Camels, Straws, and Backs.

Feb 13, 2007. At the Council Meeting.

In light of the recent attacks on his character and motives, Tony Meloto announces his resignation.

Frank Padilla followed suit.

Lachie Agana was requested by both Tony and Frank to resign as well. He did.

Hence The Three Musketeers dismount and give up the reigns...

D'Artagnan, in this saga, is a woman...

CFC is Frank Padilla, you can never change that... just like Velarde of El Shadai. You dont ask the pope to account for churche's tithes, do we?

Indebtedness of CFC was cause merely of establishing GK777...members like me were turned who to support with our limited tithes... so one has to suffer...cant the council see that, we in the lower level can feel that a long time ago...programs were heading more into GK thing...i'm sorry to say it's not the same CFC culture anymore.

Leave CFC to Frank Padilla...the council can have all the world for GK.

I find it incredible that you would mention Frank Padilla and the Pope in the same breath. I think Frank himself would have trouble accepting that. Such blind faith, esp. in tithing, is dangerous.

To perpetually associate a business or corporation with a man is one thing, but to do it with a religious organization dedicated to evangelizing for GOD (not Frank) reeks of a cult mentality, unless you see him a prophet?

Re: "Indebtedness of CFC was cause merely of establishing GK777"

Might you have proof?

Its very disrespectful and unfair to the side of tito tony and tito frank.. as if they are already guilty..

i have proof. a whole stack of laya stickers stuck in my room. we being college students weren't back then able to raise the money for the *overpriced* stickers and well it just stayed with me being one of the early laya leaders.

we were keen on repaying the debt (around 25k) but some time in the few months after that we were told that someone has paid for it already or maybe someone realized it's a tall order to ask for students to sell overpriced stickers and be asked to pay for the unsold ones.

yes it is unfair to blame the debts to tito frank, tony and lachie. besides neither were not even the home office directors at that time... who should be handling the financial and administrative stuff of the work.

if debts were made it is to support our community's evangelization and work with the poor. these should not stop even if the members are not faithful to their tithes.
before we blame people for such debts, we should make sure that we have been faithful to our tithes over the years!

Dear CD,
I posted the main comment under the "sistah!" identity. I didn't want to sound disrespectful or unfair, but the comment may have ended sounding that way (as noted in a subsequent anonymous comment.) In any case, could you grant me the favor of deleting my comment, please? I do want to make a sensible contribution to your blog by expressing my opinion to help our brethren in their decision-making process. However, if it will end up stoking negative emotions rather than aid the discerning process, then I would rather keep my peace and be quite. Bahala na si Lord.

I noted that you had deleted some comments before. Please do the same in my case.

God bless.

To Sistah!,

I think it would be unfair to the rest of the readers to delete your comment, seeing as it has information that might be important in their decision making. It will help open eyes. I will leave it up for the meantime and hope you reconsider, as there really is only one negative comment left about it. Peace...

The truth?!?! It has now been twisted, torn, trampled upon. Do you know what Nixon said about it? "Let us begin by committing ourselves to the truth, to find the truth, and to live with the truth."

THIS SITE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
GIVE THE MEMBERS PEACE.
TALKING ABOUT IT DOESN'T HELP -ONLY TIME AND PRAYER WILL HEAL IT- THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN IT WILL HEAL IN TIME.
TOO MANY BACK AND FORTH.
ACCEPT AND MOVE ON.

Yes, I agree, this site should be shut down, for the following reasons:

1) We can all sleep early instead of staying late just waiting for the next issue.

2) So that I can have time to drive my wife to the mall.

3) I can have my dinner on the dining table

Yes, shut this site down...
please shut up frank, let's all shut up and pray for healing.

My butt sure needs healing, its been sore from all this computer activities...

I completely disagree. Keep the light shining! The truth will set us free. We deserve to know the truth. Just keep the Lord in our hearts and we'll be okay. This blog is shedding light on the issues and helping us make informed decisions not just follow those who seemed blind.
