Pulp Bits

Just a short one for the weekend. In researching for an upcoming entry, I came across a June 15, 2008 article by our erstwhile detractor, Fr. Tulabing. As expected, it is another hack and slash attempt to paint CFC and the IC in a bad light. What bothers me about it is the obvious slant of his topic, while proclaiming that he's researched "...on the matter through the internet and my consultations with some bishops and persons knowledgeable about the case". He still fails to make any reference to pertinent documents or at least be fair enough to present both sides of the issue. I find this almost hostile bias and unfairness incredibly disturbing and unbecoming of a man of the cloth. He should be leading the way in the search for truth, and not be swayed by the words of just one party, and it is quite obvious whose words he's almost repeating verbatim in his article.

That of course is just my opinion and I would welcome his take on the matter here.

Here are the 2 pages excerpted from the Negros Chronicle:

You may download the 2 pages as a pdf HERE.

UPDATE, July 13 article:

I missed this one, thanks to blogger TE for pointing it out, and his analysis of it.

Download the pdf HERE.

Here is TE's analysis:

(1) Fr. Tulabing is publicly advocating that CFC be dissolved. He is urging everyone to make a choice between GK and FFL. What does this make him? He probably doesn't know that CFC under the IC is the institution enjoying Vatican recognition; and that the recognition is based on the CFC Statutes approved by the Vatican. Further that GK is mentioned clearly in the approved statutes. The Vatican (not the CBCP nor the FFL Bishops) (through the recommendation of the Bishops) is the competent authority to judge the genuineness of an institution's charism. And the Vatican has not withdrawn it's recognition proving that CFC's charism is genuine and has not been lost, as being claimed by a disillusioned former leader. This is not rocket science. It does not take a lot of gray matter to find the proof. It's a no-brainer. Wake up Fr. Tulabing.

(2) He continues to sow confusion by claiming that FFL using the name CFC is not confusing but GK's would be. This is in flagrant disregard of the fact the GK, as one the 7 Pillars of CFC, has more right to use the name than FFL.

(3) Fr. Tulabing exhibits a complete disregard of facts already in the public domain that bear on this issue. He continues to show us that he arrived at his conclusions without weighing the merits of both sides and without giving the due attention to available evidence. Since it is inconceivable that a Vicar General would be this naive, I am forced to conclude that Fr. Tulabing is deliberately ignoring evidence and purposely refuses to engage in the mental deliberation needed to arrive at, what Bishop Claver calls, a prudent choice. In other words, Fr. Tulabing has thrown prudence out the window and is advocating a position which he knows to be either false or at least questionable. That, my friends, is blatant intellectual dishonesty.

(4) By writing the sentence "The leaders and members of CFC can do the same." immediately after his exhortation to read the Bishops' letter, memos and circulars, Fr. Tulabing clearly intends to give the impression to the public that CFC members and leaders have not read the documents he mentions. It further implies that CFC willfully refuses to listen to the Bishops. Now in his previous article he angrily reacted to the comments that came out in this blog. To me that proved that he does read this blog. Putting all that together, I conclude that Fr. Tulabing knows that CFC members and leaders have read the Bishops' documents he mentioned. A whole bunch of them are published in the various blog entries. So are the IC Statements which refer to the respective Bishops' documents. That leaves two choices: (a) Fr. Tulabing knows, chooses to ignore the truth, and writes deliberately to mislead the public into thinking CFC does not listen to the Bishops; and (b) Fr. Tulabing read them all but understood none and so could not consider them. I would not consider (b) as a viable alternative. So (a) it is. Unfortunately it shows Fr. Tulabing to be intellectually dishonest.

(5) Fr. Tulabing hopes we will not accuse him of causing division. He's right. He is not the cause. He is entitled to his own opinions. But since he also presents himself as a journalist (I suppose writing a column classifies him as one) he should subject himself to rigorous standards of reporting. The truth is that the cause of the so-called "split" was not some disobedience on the part of the IC. FFL came about because FAP created it. FAP did not have to resign. The IC practically begged him. FAP did not have to create FFL. You see - it was FAP who caused the "split". He did it in disobedience to the CFC statutes and to the CFC covenant ("I will relate in love and loyalty to the other families in CFC.."), which he was under at that time. FFL was born from a betrayal. If Fr. Tulabing has really done his research as he claims, then either he's playing dumb, fanatically loyal to FAP or gets his highs playing the provocateur.

(6) What recommendations from Cardinal Rylko is he talking about? The one about the ad was not a recommendation. It was an instruction. Do you think, given his penchant for intellectual dishonesty, that Fr. Tulabing will follow Cardinal Rylko's instruction not use our name for his pet organization?

My thoughts:

First of all, I don't understand why Fr. Tulabing is confused about GK's use of the name Couples for Christ. Maybe he is acting like an expert without truly knowing what he's talking about. He might want to consider studying up on CFC and its 7 pillars here.

He is basically calling for the disolution of CFC because it is not evangelizing? Please Father, apparently you are ALL seeing, would you please point out specific instances of that? Also, since you've given us such a rational solution, how do you propose the organization that is CFC move on after its members move to the FFL? Change its name to Gawad Kalinga?

I don't know what else to say. He is making claims that are not backed up with facts, and refusing to see anything but what is being fed to him by the Easter Group. I challenge Fr. Tulabing to come to this blog, look at all the documents here, and then make his judgement again.

The Negros Chronicle is published online by a fellow blogger, Jay Dejaresco, who apparently is a respected advocate of truth and fairness. It is my hope that he gives this issue a little attention, and at least give the CFC defenders a chance to air our side.

Goodness, the priests and members of the clergy are supposed to be our friends, leaders, and shepherds in our daily pursuit of Christian living and behavior. With friends like these, who needs enemies?

* * *

Do any of you notice the increased, insidious assault on GK by the Easter Group? I recently received another cyber bashing of GK by this mythical Salvador Macias using an old article by the Inquirer's Michael Tan. While preparing for an entry on it, I noticed the escalating aggression by the Easter Group against GK, in emails, in "sponsored" articles, and other forms of correspondence. It seems our rambuctious brothers in the FFL are going corporate on us. They have a competing product, and in order to have their product succeed, they must prove that theirs is better by disparaging the other one. Christian conduct? I think not.

There's something up, best be prepared my friends.

During the split in the early '90s, a priest announced in a homily, that the chaplaincy where he sid the Holy Mass was aligning with Kahayag sa Diyos, whose followers were to take charge of the parish activities. The local followers of CFC (they raised the funds to rehabilitate the chapel)decided to boycott the Masses officiated by the said priest who, noticing the dwindling Mass collection and attendees, publicly announced he was retracting his decision.

I pray the local CFC in the Archdiocese of Dumaguete will find a way to use their 'people power' to bring Pader Tulabint to his senses.

CD, if there is a noticeable acceleration of attacks against GK, someone commented in CBCP News earlier that when FP accused CFC of veering away from its vision, it was not because of GK per se, but because FAP HAD A DIFFERENT VISION: THE COLOR OF MONEY in GK. May be worth to keep this handy because they did not seem to be repentant after publicly bashing "their" bishops, whose stoic silence is deafening.

Even as life goes on, I'm still waiting for FFL's official spokesperson Nonong Contreras to publicly apologize to "their" bishops for saying that they are smoking marijuana:

Nonong Contreras said:
"On the other hand, our Bishops continue to engage in civilities and seem not to be ready to stick by us.They cannot just stay idle twiddling their thumbs and reading tea leaves, albeit smoking pot."

I praise "their" bishops for their restraint.

Yes, and can life indeed go on with an unclear conscience, also accusing "their" bishops of practicing MAGIC and WITCHCRAFT:

"On the other hand, our Bishops continue to engage in civilities and seem not to be ready to stick by us.They cannot just stay idle twiddling their thumbs and reading tea leaves, albeit smoking pot."

Well here is my take on this.

I think Nonong Contre will not apologize anymore. For the simple reason that the FFL's Bishop has an unofficial spokesman in the person of Fr. Tulabing. This way the FFL's Bishop will not be in direct fire. Look at what is happening now. Kung baga, temporarily ;), may shock absorber na sila. Kay Fr. our priests friends are also human. much like my comrades before in our chapter.
we were all singing the same tunes, preaching the same messages to our brothers and sisters be in cfc or from our gk kapitbahayans.
then all of a sudden, they were all liked hypnotized or entered the twilight zone.
they were now saying things differently from how we were presenting God's message.
"What you are doing to the least of my people" is now a joke to them.

Regarding the articles of Fr. Tulabing, may I suggest that our IC formally write him to inform him (courteously and politely) of the entire background of how the FFL break-away group of Frank came about ?
Eventually, I believe the IC will need to do the same for the bishops of other dioceses and vicariates to set the records straight. Actually, we should have done so much much earlier, As things stand now, mukhang "defensive" tayo at nauunahan tayo lagi.... ?

God bless our community,

May I suggest that we publish all the GK sites whose money/funds have not been turned-over by the former-CFC-now-turned-FFL-leaders to the CFC yet, and how much ? It has been more than a year now. What moral and legal rights are FFL invoking to justify their holding-on to these GK funds ?

It's so disappointing and very embarassing to hear from a clergy like Father Tulabing some very bias comments against the CFC-IC. It's shameful that supposedly a man of
God would do such without really trying to find out the truth. I am very sad to hear this from a priest who is supposed to be an instrument of peace, rather than causing trouble among his parishioners. It's really very hard to be "STILL" when you hear people like father too-loving.

About the Remarville Build tomorrow July 20,2008.

The build is initiated and coordinated by GK National. And is intended for the CFC full time workers who are beneficiaries and lot owners in this site.

CFC West C GK workers and volunteers are part of the team who will support the build. All volunteers were asked to gather at the basketball court.

Tito Jun Junia is aware of this scheduled build.

Before the build was scheduled, talks were ongoing between the FFL (Lito De Guzman) and CFC (thru CFC West C GK Tito Santos). Also Tito Santos (my dad) is constantly communicating with Tito Jun Junia about the site and its benficiaries.

FFL (thru Lito De Guzman) has agreed to it and Tito Jun will refer it to the Homeowners Association of remarville.

-- one of my dad's SMS message to Tito Jun ---"GK natl has scheduled a build on Sunday 9am to 5pm at remarville, hope to make the start of uniting our hearts again even with 2 organizations"---

Let's pray for this and may all our hearts be melted and peace reign as we strive to follow Jesus' way..

Clearly Fr. Tulabing is misinformed. He doesn't know that Frank Padilla resigned as council member, and doesn't know the reasons for his resignation. FP was no longer nominated to the council because he just wanted to be a member and took responsibility for the negative growth of CFC,pero lumabas ang tunay nyang kulay nung di nya nakuha yung nomination. Now he FP formed the FFL and seeked the help of the clergy. Fr. Tulabing does not know the real FP. I have always been doubtful of some media persons, here we see a man of the cloth indulging in worldly media. The devil himself can mimic the voice of God. Do more research Fr. Tulabing, seek the help of the Holy Spirit. CFC we still have a long way to go let's continue to pray more. This Fr Tulabing is somewhat of a shallow Hal.

Fr. Tulabing,

Excerpts from Lumen Gentium:

Chapter 1 - The Mystery of the Church

7...In that Body the life of Christ is poured into the believers who, through the sacraments, are united in a hidden and real way to Christ who suffered and was glorified.(6*) Through Baptism we are formed in the likeness of Christ: "For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body"...From all this it follows that if one member endures anything, all the members co-endure it, and if one member is honored, all the members together rejoice.

Chapter 2 - On The People of God

9. At all times and in every race God has given welcome to whosoever fears Him and does what is right.

10...Therefore all the disciples of Christ, persevering in prayer and praising God, should present themselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Everywhere on earth they must bear witness to Christ and give an answer to those who seek an account of that hope of eternal life which is in them.
Though they differ from one another in essence and not only in degree, the common priesthood of the faithful and the ministerial or hierarchical priesthood are nonetheless interrelated: each of them in its own special way is a participation in the one priesthood of Christ.(2*) The ministerial priest, by the sacred power he enjoys, teaches and rules the priestly people; acting in the person of Christ, he makes present the Eucharistic sacrifice, and offers it to God in the name of all the people. But the faithful, in virtue of their royal priesthood, join in the offering of the Eucharist.(3*) They likewise exercise that priesthood in receiving the sacraments, in prayer and thanksgiving, in the witness of a holy life, and by self-denial and active charity.

11...Taking part in the Eucharistic sacrifice, which is the fount and apex of the whole Christian life, they offer the Divine Victim to God, and offer themselves along with It.(6*) Thus both by reason of the offering and through Holy Communion all take part in this liturgical service, not indeed, all in the same way but each in that way which is proper to himself.

12. The holy people of God shares also in Christ's prophetic office; it spreads abroad a living witness to Him, especially by means of a life of faith and charity and by offering to God a sacrifice of praise, the tribute of lips which give praise to His name...
It is not only through the sacraments and the ministries of the Church that the Holy Spirit sanctifies and leads the people of God and enriches it with virtues, but, "allotting his gifts to everyone according as He wills,(114) He distributes special graces among the faithful of every rank. ..but judgment as to their genuinity and proper use belongs to those who are appointed leaders in the Church, to whose special competence it belongs, not indeed to extinguish the Spirit, but to test all things and hold fast to that which is good.

13. All men are called to belong to the new people of God.

*****

Fr. Tulabing, here are some thoughts for you to ponder.

As we are all members of one body, our singular love for the Lord should have brought us to rejoice when one of us is honored. Do you believe he had love in his heart when a former leader decided to attack another brother because he was given the Ramon Magsaysay award?

Are you, as part of the ministerial priesthood, not enjoined to recognize the common priesthood of the faithful? Do we not also exercise that priesthood in receiving the sacraments, in prayer and thanksgiving (households, assemblies, daily prayer times, etc.), in the witness of a holy life (fear of the Lord and in doing what is right) and by self-denial and active charity (GK)? Why do you want to deny us that last part? Indeed, would you not be exercising self-denial and active charity were you to examine the evidence and truth of the issues? Have you considered that the Bishops' silence may be out of such self-denial?

Though we are one body, it is recognized that our offerings are "not indeed, all in the same way but each in that way which is proper to himself". Why do you insist that we should have only one charism? Why should building the church of the poor be detrimental to building the church of the home? Don't the poor also have homes? Do you not see that Couples for Christ has over 800,000 members, each blessed by the Holy Spirit in his own way and each, as Paul VI urges, offers himself in that way that is proper to himself? And is not the active exercise of one's own charism that proper way? Shouldn't you, as part of the ministerial priesthood, rejoice in this instead of seeking to suppress it and limit it to only one? You asked us to make a choice between GK and FFL. There is no choice required, Father Tulabing. We are already in CFC, which includes GK and the Family Ministries, the Social Ministries and the Special Ministries. We uphold your FFL as another part of the same Body of Christ with its own charisms. We do not want to take over FFL, indeed you can read of people here in this blog praying for FFL and that their charism my be strengthened for the greater glory of our one God.

Lastly, Fr. Tulabing, since the Vatican recognized (and not withdrawn it's recognition of) CFC, please understand that the competent authority to judge the genuineness and proper use of the CFC charism is the Vatican. Since FFL has only been recognized at the diocesan level, then the proper authority to judge their charisms are the Bishops. In Dumaguete, you, as Vicar General, I believe, would be a member of "those appointed leaders in the Church" who can judge the genuineness and proper use of FFL's charism. But that is only one side of the coin, Father. You are also "not indeed to extinguish the Spirit, but to test all things and hold fast to that which is good." Does that not mean that you are not to suppress the charisms? Why then do you, even though you do not have the authority to do so, insist on limiting CFC's charisms by calling for us to choose between GK and FFL? Father, you are not supposed to extinguish the charisms. You are supposed to test all things and hold fast to that which is good. Doesn't that give you the responsibility to review the evidence and hold fast to the truth? Why do you think the Bishops are silent? Do you think it's because they know that they are not to extinguish the spirit, the charism, but rather to seek the truth? Could it be they are in the process of reviewing evidence and silently seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit? Could it be that the Bishops are acutely cognizant of their roles and responsibilities as members of the ministerial priesthood?

Where does that leave you, Father Tulabing?

I have started to include you in my prayers, Father. May the Spirit of the Lord guide you, keep you, enlighten you and give you the courage to stand up for the truth. Mr. Palad showed us what moral courage is all about when he made a public retraction of his previous public accusations. I pray that you can stand as upright as he is.

Yung problema natin ngayon na si Fr. Tulabing of Negros just reminded me of a fascinating show that I saw at a "Karnabal" during our town fiesta when I was still a kid. Fascinated ako sa isang show na may ventriloquist who could throw his voice and make it appear that the dummy that he was manipulating on his lap was the one doing the talking.

Ang galing noong ventriloquist. Hindi mo makita na siya ang nagsasalita. Kapag tinignan mo eh parang galing sa dummy ang mga salita but ang totoo ay galing talaga sa ventriloquist. I've always wanted to be a ventriloquist.

Is it possible that Fr. Tulabing is .............. I pray not!

Call to prayer for our bros and sis in remarville quezon city aka "International Village" which lately became 'restoration village", may the Lord be your shelter and your protection. May the Lord keep you from every evil, and may the Lord protect you and keep you from any danger!
Amen!

a short background on the remarville gk issue.

1) this was called the 'international village'
2) one house for each country that has a cfc community
3) each social min also donated a house
4) each beneficiary paid for their own lot (instalment form)
5) ffl took hold of this gk site and 'called' it the restoration village
6) all beneficiaries were required to be ffl
7) when a beneficiary refused to do so, several complaints were lodged against the owner and eventually a case for eviction was filed
8) several lot owners are from the Home office
9)tomorrow is 'build day' for the remaining houses to be finished
10) construction materials delivered to the site- hinarang
11) goons (sabi) are ready to face the gk volunteers tomorrow

Read Luke 6:31
"Do to others as you would have them do to you!"

- it does not mean- lets nail and hammer each other to death!

Remarville...

We are praying for Remarville...But don't you think we need to do more?

Please give us all an update on whatever happens tomorrow. Can someone please try to document what happens tomorrow as much as possible? Take pictures and videos mga kapatid. If FFL really made those threats and follows through on them, those pictures will be proof that they have lost their moral right to call themselves a Catholic charismatic community.

What do you think the Bishops, the press and the Vatican will do, if we present incontrovertible evidence? Let the TV networks by all means broadcast it. If FAP cannot pacify his people, if he allows his people to make threats and resort to violence, he takes responsibility for whatever happens.

Threatening people is not part of the CFC charisms. Resorting to physical violence is not part of the CFC charism. Disregarding human rights by evicting beneficiaries just because they do not want to be FFL members is not christian. But then again FFL IS NOT CFC.

Threats and violence are actions of a tyrannical group. They are no different than Robert Mugabi's or those of the Myanmar government. An organization condoning violence in furthering its goals does not have any business calling itself christian.

Can someone also gather evidence of the evictions? Can you get people to sign affidavits on what is being done to them? How about the financing of these lots and houses? This is not anymore about what the village's name is. It is about the rights of the beneficiaries who are being evicted.

Anonymous said...

Do I understand this right - Remarville is a joint project of GK and FFL? How did that come about?

Why was the village renamed as Restoration Village? What events led to this? Why is a GK project being taken over by FFL?

And now, GK beneficiaries are being evicted? What is the stand of GK Leadership on this?

Mga kapatid, paki-explain naman. I'm sure there are those like who would like to hear the whole story.

remarville story
a gk project in quezon city. beneficiaries are cfc members some from the home office. this was then under the sector of pancho lopez tan who is now an ffl.
the land was owned by a private person, purchased on installment basis by the beneficiaries with jun junia acting as the lawyer.
after the split, jun junia aligned himself with the ffl, and prevailed upon the beneficiaries to become ffl as well. those who refused were subjected to harassment and coercion.
one of those was a handmaid, who not only paid for the lot but built her own house with her own money. she is today facing eviction charges alegedly for building a second floor. btw, the designs of the houses in this site is different, it has a mezzanine. i know because i was there for the build, we donated one house.
after the split, the homeowners association now supposedly became ffl members. they wrote gk declaring that in as much as they are now ffl, sila na ang magpapatakbo ng site. in reality gk is just a partner in all gk sites, it is really the ultimate goal for the homeowners to manage their own community.

question: what happens to the other beneficiaries who paid for thier lot, whose houses are not built?

answer: gk decided to finish the project, hence the gk build scheduled today where 200 volunteers are supposed to finish the remaining houses whose owners are mostly cfc brethren working at the Home Office.

negotiations have been on going to allow the build to push through, it is not as if the gk volunteers are going to do an 'ambush type' of build!

this would have been the best showcase of how cfc and ffl can start 'living together' despite differences.but no! ffl has called it now the restoration village, and as such, does not want any other beneficiary but purely ffl. if you do not toe the line, you will be evicted.

question:
what is the IC stand on this? isn't joe tale supposed to be seating as head of the board of gk? why wait until the 'bakbakan'? yes, calling on the leaders of gk as well.

yes bro you are right-do unto others as you would have others do unto you?

Prudence says- an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure!

fr tulabing, you say there is no confusion?

go to remarville and explain to everyone there that there is no confusion in the use of the name cfc. it is one thing to sit behind your desk and write and write and write about how stubborn, disobedient and evil cfc has become.

quite different from being here on the ground having to face persecution and injustice, where motives are questioned, acts are scrutinized and good intentions are subjected to much suspect-

all because we do not belong to the nobility called ffl and we do not follow the noble acts of frank padilla!

all because our logo is 2 rings with a cross and a dove

all because it says we are cfc!

fr tulabing, forgive me but i fault you for speaking without an iota of prudence.

The arrow and the song

"I shot the arrow in the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,I found again in the heart of a friend."

sadly, you write and write and write seemingly never learning the first lesson in writing;
be careful with words when written for it will be there to haunt us forever

alas, this time it is not a song but hundreds of arrows in the heart of cfc members!

My take is that it shouldn't matter to whose name -- in the eyes of man -- that this remarville site is credited to, and for that matter, all GK sites.
After all, it is GOD's work ALONE, and ALL for His Glory. Frail followers as called as mere instruments. It is when the very SPIRIT of the work for the poor is subverted by human frailties,
that this spirit is driven away, and that is when the weeds overcome the wheat. I salute all GK workers, who evict only the evil in the grave neglect for the needy, and who sacrifice not for personal glory but for HIS GLORY. May the REAL GK SPIRIT continue to be a beacon of light before men. To all brethren in remarville - it is your actions that speak, and it is the Father who hears.

Hay!!!

Nakakabaliw!! veered away from original CFC statutes because of GK, not ff Bishops, pharma, now meron na "Work for the Poor" na in Tagalog - Gawad Kalinga din? Then take over pa yung isang GK village focing to be called "Restoration Village", mga Bros & Sis payagan na nga natin tong mga kapatid natin na nabulag ng FFL, gusto pala nilang mgatayo ng GK e- Inglesin na lang natin " Work for The Poor!!"

I Love You talaga mga kapatid ko sa FFL, ano ba yang pinaggagawa nyo? You are welcome, you are CFC pa rin naman, yung leadership nyo lang "HINDI".

"When you come to a town or village, go in and look for someone who is willing to welcome you and stay with him until yo leave that place. When you go into a house, say,'Peace be with you.' If the people in that house welcome you, let you greeting of peace remain; but if they do not welcome you or listen to you, then leave that place and shake the dust off your feet. I assure you that on the Judgment Day God will show more mercy to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah than to the people of that town!"

I hope this passage will enlighten Jun Junia and the GK Volunteers! In God's time, we will be allowed to continue our work in that village!

Now it is clear what are their motives! I hope you have documented the event for us to see soon in this blog! CD?

OK, the situation in GK Remarville Village in Quezon City shows that CFC has not "veered away from its vision" but that FAP saw a different color or vision in GK there, which moves him and FFL to cling to it for dear life...

A commentator in CBCP News refers to this as 'DOLLAR VISION'.

About indorsing FAP's formation of an independent FFL that shares the "CFC" name, have 'their Bishops' envisioned its effects on the likes of Remarville GK Village?

Given FAP's 'dollar vision', it may be useful to elicit historical parallels and lessons from that sordid case, also in Quezon City, where he was convicted of a landscam.

Thank you for the story on Remarville kapatid. Our prayers are with you.

Leaders, by virtue of their position, are always responsible for the actions of their members. We know it as command responsibility. This is fundamental in the build-up of an organization. It is an accepted principle of good and effective leadership. More so in organizations espousing servant leadership.

What happened in Remarville is a reflection of the type of leadership in FFL. FAP and the others cannot run for cover by saying what happened are just the actions of a few of their brethren. There is nothing that can absolve them of the responsibility. As leaders, they have to take responsibility for it. FAP most of all.

It is the function of leadership to implement mechanisms and measures to ensure that members do not violate the spirit of the organization. Does Remarville reflect what FFL calls the "original CFC charism"? FFL's actions explicitly and overtly prevented God's work from being done. While proclaiming love and service to God as guiding principles, are FAP and FFL actually showing their true colors?

The actions of FFL members in Remarville is a shameful failure in leadership and management. Are they glimpses as well of what FFL may be really all about?

Using past behaviours as guide, I expect FAP to either keep silent or to put blame on the offending members. His past actions support this - that whenever something did not result in his own glory, he either keeps silent about it or condemns and attacks the ones responsible. Examples:

(1) When GK's success resulted in the glory (awards) going to TM and CFC, he could not keep quiet. He condemned and attacked TM and CFC. He even used the agreements with pharma companies, for which he was responsible as they were made under his management, deftly sidestepping his responsibility for it by being louder and more vehement than the IC. But it doesn't change the truth. The IC is still cleaning up after FAP's mess.

(2) When FAP left, we all found out he left behind a mountain of debt. Well he couldn't attack himself, so he kept silent about it. And we cleaned up his mess again.

(3) When what happened in Laguna in May became known, again he couldn't attack the offending members without condemning his own, so he kept silent about it.

(4) When, after claims of being so large in number, he couldn't fill Marikina Sports last month, who would he condemn? He's kept silent about that, too.

If FAP is a true servant leader, as he claims, then he should come out in public, apologize for the actions of his misguided members and allow the build to happen. No, he should do more than allow. He should actively encourage it. After all, as WillJ says, this is all for the glory of God.

But I wouldn't hold my breath. After all it is not for the glory of FAP.

Tito Frank, prove me wrong.

CD, somewhere in the entries I read someone asking if we shouldn't be doing more. Bro, IDOTRCFC has become a public forum in defense of our faith, reason and justice. Would you agree to publicizing what happened in Remarville? Testimonies of Remarville brethren, especially those displaced by FFL's actions, those persecuted and those threatened by eviction.

CD, we cannot just ignore what happened. This time, we cannot let FAP get away with it. But with specific ground rules. No innuendos. No speculations. No guesses. No intrigas. Let evidence be presented. Let truth be known.

One last hirit: Fr. Tulabing, after knowing what happened in Remarville, are you still convinced, deep down in your heart, that FFL is doing the right thing?

Mga kapatid,
The writing on the wall is now very clear.
FFL is against GK for alleged "VEERING AWAY" and "OVER-EMPHASIS ON SOCIAL WORKS".
Now, FFL is taking over some of the GK sites and renaming them "restoration village".
FFL don't like GK because it doesn't have the face of FAP. To their (FFL)mind, if the Restoration Village will be as phenomenal as GK, it has the face of FAP.
Gets nyo. Sabi sa nyo NO JEALOUSY INVOLVED eh.

Titos and Titas, I could say that surely FFL is LYING that we are not evangelizing and focusing on GK...For example here in UAE...

Ano ba gnagawa namin? Do we GIVE UP CLPS for GK? Do we Give up Youth Camps? no...actually ang ntutulong lng nmin sa GK is aun, Money and Donations and awareness....pero we don't compromise the activities just for GK...its straight.

Tinanggal lng nman tlaga ni God ung mga ndi karapat dapat sa CFC...I hope they'll gib up someday :)

TE and all concerned,

I am waiting for the whole story to come out on the Remarville issue. As we know only too well here, there are always two sides and I'd like to present them the way we did in the Laguna Disciples weekend entry, where both parties were allowed to air their side.

If anybody here was at Remarville and has more info, you know where to reach me. I was hoping someone got video of the confrontation.

God bless all,

Thanks CD, for that statrep...

On another note...

Have you all noticed that when FAP finds an argument refuted, he purposely ignores it. He continues to mouth his old accusations as if nothing happened, even though evidence has been brought to bear disproving them. Parang bata na matigas ang ulo, hindi marunong makinig pati sa katotohanan.

The thing is, as the blog entries get older, they tend to get buried and are in danger of being eventually forgotten. And with the forgetting, we fall silent about those issues. And with our silence we lower our guard, we set aside our opposition, albeit temporarily. Meanwhile FAP's continuous harangue, in the absence of opposition, begins to make the public think he is right. We should not let our silence give FAP victory by default.

So, lest we forget, I have tried to list the issues FAP seems to be ignoring. If nothing else, at least the issues get to be "unburied":

(1) Issue: FAP claims he is the founder and that the Church believes he is. Evidence against: The real founders' story in the 3-part series "Origins". As to his claim that the Church believes him to be the founder, the CBCP publicly stated: "CFC is a lay Catholic group established in 1981 by Fr. Herb Schneider, SJ and Vic Gutierrez. CFC got split from its original group “Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon Community” in 1993."

(2) Issue: FAP claims to be the "keeper of the founder's charism". Evidence against: The names of the real founders are stated by the CBCP quote above. Founder's charisms are supposed to be given for life. Fr. Schneider and Vic Gutierrez are the keepers of the charism.

(3) Issue: FAP declared last month that "...we do not intend to prevent them from using the name 'CFC', for as long as they strive to not let go of what it means to be truly CFC." This is a threat issued in public. Veering away and disobeying the Church are certainly not part of what it means to be CFC.
Evidence: He hasn't made good on his threat. The statement is phrased such that if he doesn't do what he threatened to do, he actually admits that there is no reason for the threat. He therefore admits that we haven't let go of what it means to be CFC. Ergo: CFC hasn't veered away and wasn't disobedient.

He's been accusing us for a year now. The threat was issued a month ago. Ergo: FAP has already admitted that CFC hasn't veered away. There is only one way he can explain his non-action: it was an empty threat, a bluster. If he does that, he still admits there really was no veering away. Worse, he proves he's only full of hot air. All talk, no walk. Whoops! Catch 22.

Lesson: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. And barking dogs don't bite.

But thank you, Tito Frank for admitting your error!

(4) Issue: Continues to accuse GK of accepting donations from pharma companies that make contraceptives. Evidence: Dead issue. These agreements have been terminated, di ba? So he just wants to vent hot air?

(5) Issue: Accuses TM of dragging him into resigning.
Evidence: Various documents published in the blog showing how the resignations took place. These include copies of emails, the resignation speeches as well as testimonies of bloggers written as blog entries.

(6) Issue: Continues to insist that FFL has a right to use the CFC name.
Evidence: Cardinal Rylko's letter quoted in the newspaper ad - "no other association is allowed to use your name". FAP continues to point out that 5 other entities have the CFC name. Section 18 of the Corporation Code disallows the use of a name if it is identical to or confusingly similar to an existing entity.
Sections 165.1 and 169.1 of the Intellectual Property Code expounds on this better. It prohibits the use of an identical name especially if it causes the public to mistake or be confused as to the affiliation or origin of the company's product. Since FFL is in the same "business" as CFC, they cannot be allowed to use the name. The bakery, the school and the taxi company are allowed to use the name because they are in a different business than CFC and will hence cause no public confusion.

Is there something I left out mga kapatid? Please update.

CD, how can we keep track of the status of each issue? We need to counter the constant repetition from FFL of the accusations. Until we come up with a better idea, I'm afraid we'd have to go toe to toe with FFL. Everytime they repeat an accusation, we repeat showing the evidence to the public. But as more and more evidence pile up, we need to keep updating the public as well. In time the bulk of the evidence will simply render their accusation ridiculous.

Hi TE and others,

I am guessing I'll have to put up a new sidebar section, called "The Issues", where we can refute and update them as needed.

We're coming on the 1st year anniv of this blog as well, and I would like to summarize the past year in terms of important events and other relevant occurences. I'd appreciate the help, if you can maybe point them out so I can compile. Thanks so much

Coming Soon: The First Anniversary of IDoTRCFC !!!

What date exactly is it CD? Ang bilis ng panahon. Pero sana nga hindi na umabot pa ng first anniversary e, but I guess we have to mark it with a big bang.
A concise compilation of the issues annotated with portions of some
of the most relevant posts/occurrences/comments (there's a lot!), capped by a petition, should provide a thunderous exclamation point to what this blog has been saying all along for the past year.

- Pramis!

To our beloved brethren in FFL, do not allow yourselves to be misled!
OK lang umamin ng pagkakamali. Lahat naman tayo nagkakamali e.
Let us DECREASE while the Lord INCREASES! Let us guard ourselves against taking the WRONG side of the argument just because our PERCEIVED opponent has taken on the RIGHT side. I'd rather admit to be inconsistent with my own views rather than remain intransigently opposed to the TRUTH!

"Let anyone who has ears listen!" (Mat 11:15)

Someone told this anecdote: “When a beauty contestant most everyone thought would “bring home the bacon” volunteered that she was bothered by her toenails she lost the contest as the judges asked her more questions about her hygienic nails practices...

Those participating in beauty contests are thin- or onion-skinned, they are easily persuaded to give up a losing cause. In contrast, those who have contested the CFC elections last year (FAP and the FFL playboys and bunnies) are generally thick- and old-skinned, calloused, impervious to shame and resistant to change.

By drawing close attention to their follies like the proverbial toenails, FP and FFL have definitely lost the CFC battle, which delicadeza dictates be expressed by throwing in the towel. Now, like harridans in the wet market, they have changed the scenario as the game concludes to its fiery end...

... Blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek...those who mourn... those who hunger and thirst after justice...the merciful...the clean of heart... the peacemakers ...those who hunger and thirst after justice...

GOD BLESS.

"The Way I See It" is the title of Fr. Tulabing's column.

Tulabing. Let's leave them for good. Sila-sila lang naman ang naniniwala sa mga sinasabi nila. Mapipikon lang kayo. Ang mapikon - talo.

A real CFC knows the truth in his/her heart. Those called to CFC by the Lord will also discern well. The Church and CBCP know the truth as well. Masakit mang sabihin - kung ayaw matuto ni Fr. Tulabing, pabayaan nyo na siya. He's not worth our while.

Fr. TULABING,

Pag tinuwid ko ang kamalian ko will you keep on saying “YOU ALWAYS VEERING AWAY “
Father, pangangalanan nyo po ba akong BERING?

Di ba pader pwede naman pong Berta pa rin pangalan ko na walang anino ni BERING?

I'm sorry Father....

US group embraces GK vision
By Patricia Esteves
Monday, July 21, 2008
Gawad Kalinga’s commitment and vision to uplift the lives of the poor continues to transcend faith, creed, background and wealth, as it inspires an outpouring of support from different Catholic organizations and Filipinos abroad.
One of them is the Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD), a Catholic organization with members all over the world, that has made GK a part of its ministry and poverty alleviation program.
“Because helping the poor knows no boundaries — in creed, faith, background or wealth, the BLD found a common goal and has embraced the vision of GK in giving dignity and hope to the poor and homeless,” said Richard de la Fuente, BLD executive in the Newark-New Jersey district.
The BLD shares GK’s passion in helping the poor, following the teachings of Christ to “live out their faith, put love into action and feed the hungry.”
While BLD members in the US are helping build GK villages in the Philippines, BLD members here have pledged to live with the poor as caretaker teams to lessen the burden of local CFC caretakers in various GK villages.
The BLD-GK partnership started four years ago when Fr. Paul J. Lehman, the spiritual director of BLD Newark and New Jersey district refused a big banquet for his sacerdotal 50th anniversary and instead wanted the funds be donated to GK for a village for the poor in Cabiao.
Fr. Paul also encouraged BLD members in the US to get involved with GK.
He came to know GK and was impressed about the transformation that was happening to the beneficiaries.
Dr. Cirilo “Bong” Encarnacion, one of the BLD execs in the Newark-New Jersey district was intrigued over what has gotten over Fr. Paul to passionately pursue building a GK village.
“We went to the GK presentation and we understood why and everybody got involved,” Encarnacion said.
Soon after, the BLD Newark and CFC Ancop Northeast collaborated to build the first BLD-GK village, the Fr. Paul Lehman Village in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
Since then the partnership has grown and today there are 17 GK-BLD villages already.
These are the Fr. Paul Lehman Village and UST Medical Class of 1976 Village; Mauban- BLD Trenton Village and Tropical Hut Village; San Ildefonso – BLD Long Island village; Seruma- St. James Village; Barotac-Viejo –St. Christopher Village; Naga- St. Mary’s Village; Camp Aquino- Kawal Kalinga; Talao-Talao – Village of the Angels. BLD-GK has also built homes in Hapay-na-Mangga, Marinduque and UP Los Baños.
BLD will soon construct a BLD-GK Village in Sun Valley, Parañaque.
Sceptical
Encarnacion admitted being sceptical at first when he first heard about GK because he thought everything that they contribute for the good of their countrymen would be for naught.
“I was sceptical because nothing good has ever come out of the Philippines. I was one of those who bash the Philippines. Actually, I have talked to someone and he said the only way for the Philippines to get better is to build a new race,” said Encarnacion who has been staying in the US for more than a decade now.
“I have guarded optimism about GK, but I went ahead,” he added.
As he learned more about GK, he got convinced that GK was a holistic solution to solve the poverty in the country because of its youth and child development, Christian values and livelihood and pre-school education programs.
“I love its holistic approach, it is not just a housing project, what GK does is to transform residents. Those who have vices are given Christian life values through the Christian Life program. There are livelihood projects, a preschool for the children of the beneficiaries and a youth development program. I saw the transformation and along the way, I got convinced this is the way to go. GK is a good vehicle,” said Encarnacion.
He was also pleased that many politicians are now part of GK and are doing their share to alleviate poverty in the Philippines through GK.
“I realized that GK is the real deal, may pag-asa sa ating bayan. We just hope that we can continue the movement of change with the help of expats and will involve all Filipinos, we should bring it out and let everyone know the miracle of GK that is transforming the Filipinos,” Encarnacion said.
Dela Fuente, for his part, said supporting GK is truly liberating the poor from the clutches of poverty.
“As a community we have to be engaged in a mission, sharing in the work of Jesus Christ to the poor. I realized that the reason why am I disciple is so that that I can serve the poor people,” said De la Fuente, who was born and raised in the Philippines but migrated to the US since the early 1990s.
Leo Alquiros, another BLD member based in New Jersey said he totally believed in the GK cause the first time he saw the presentation about it in 2005.
Moved by its noble cause, Alquiros pledged 30 homes for the poor in Quezon.
To complete his village, he with BLD and CFC-Ancop Northeast members held fund-raising projects like dinner dance and concerts for the completion of the BLD villages.
He never felt so fulfilled in his life, knowing that he was given an opportunity to give back and share his blessings to the poor.
Leo said he went through a lot of struggles when he first came to America to seek greener pastures but through the grace of God, his eatery and catering business, Tropical Hut Island grill and foodmart, took off and is now one of the successful Filipino businesses in New Jersey.
He also believes that GK is a perfect vehicle to build and unite the Philippines.
“GK not only provide shelter for the poor, but also to assist them in building a self-sustaining socio-economic community in their villages. It is one of the most successful and innovative ventures on nation building because it taps the beautiful values of bayanihan and pakikisama,” Leo said.

Bros/Sis,

From the write-ups available in the internet, Fr.Tulabing is an action- oriented priest in his diocese. Unfortunately our beloved Fr. was fed with wrong or extremely biased information about the CFC split.

Let's give him a chance to clarify things. . . .it was very evident that he was victimized by the evil of "CONFUSION".

on Remarville:
di na po bago yan mga pangyayari katulad ng sa remarville. maraming gk site na dating hawak ng mga lumipat sa FFL ang ayaw bitawan ang Gk site at hinatak na mga benificiaries sa kanilang grupo, ang dahilan sila daw ang nagpakahirap to make these sites a succesful GK site as it is today.

this is not unique for FFl followers.
Teodora and EFI were taken by FFL ...ang dahilan sila naman daw ang nagpakahirap na mabuo itong mga ministry na ito. siguro sila nagbayad and lent their name for the registration and all pero saan galing ang pera ginamit?

i thought all along we were doing all these (GK, Teodora, EFI etc...) all for God's greater honor and glory.

kung minsan tinatanong ko kay Lord kung bakit hindi na lang si tito Frank ang ginamit niya to spread the work of GK..di sana wala ng inggitan, walang sapawan ng sa publicity, si frank lang ang bibigyan ng award (am sure ka nonong would be very pleased), si frank ang sikat di sana walang veering away na mangyayari and we would all be at peace today enjoying frank's sermons on our tithing. ang saya saya sana!

but God must have answered me with that storm that recently hit us..."hijo pag si tito frank mo ang ginamit natin it will be a DISASTER"

It is clear to me that Rev. Father Tulabing was merely fed with false and deceptive information because he echoed the same sentiments & line of arguments with those who have left the original CFC and created a new association (FFL). Suffice it to say that the good reverend had only listened to one side of the story. Therefore, it would be prudent for our CFC brethren in the diocese of Dumaguete to reach out to Fr. Tulabing and air our side. That is, of course, granting the good father is willing to listen to all sides of the story. Hopefully, being a man of God, he will make himself available to listen before further making one-sided commentaries.

Let's continue to storm heaven with prayers so that the truth will always prevail amidst the confusion and deception being carried out just to promote selfish interests.

May God bless us all!!!

Maybe the cure to all of this trouble is for all of us in CFC to sign a petition publicly declaring our praises, admiration, reverence, exaltation and submission to brother Frank Padilla. Then maybe if he feels glorified again, he will come back and restore the relationships that he broke, then maybe we can have peace again. Let us all magnify him, enthrone him and sing to him songs of praises. We could even petition the Magsaysay Award to also grant him what Tony Meloto received. Let us take it a step further and campaign for his Nobel Peace Prize. Maybe if we humble ourselves and submit to him, we buy from him peace. Just a thought.

Having given a talk about Life in the Holy Spirit on the night of July 20, it is very disheartening to read about the events in Remarville that very day. I look forward to getting more information about what happened last Saturday, and I trust that CD, as usual, will come out with a write-up that takes into account the two sides of the story.

I looked up Google for this village and I was led to the photo blog section of a photographer’s multiply account.

The images he took were simply all familiar, and heart-warming. Someone prevented that from happening last Saturday, July 20. The thought simply shocks my sensibilities.

Come end of the 3rd module talk, sumingit sila and pinapili ang mga participants --- CFC or FFL!

RE: Remarville

Does anybody remember Bro. Warlie Tullao of North A2? He used to be a volunteer worker in that GK village until his death about 2 years ago. Prior to his Remarville stint, he was in charge of the construction of 2-storey concrete GK houses in the fire-razed part of Capri, QC. How he was able to build those houses in Capri within the very low budget allotted ( purely bayanihan !) is indeed an engineering feat.

Our brothers at the Center were probably inspired by what he showed can be done in Capri that they exported him to Remarville to lead the workers there.

With enthusiasm he accepted Remarville, trusting that he was able to make a good pattern to follow for those he left in Capri. He just accepted the new work, never mind of the inconvenience. For him, this is another God's work after all. I sense that if he was offered another GK work which is much farther, he would have accepted just the same. No wonder, when there was a call for a few days work in Bicol, he volunteered without hesitation.

With the same dedication as before he would go daily to Remarville in his dilapidated bike; complete with his baon, in his favorite checkered working long sleeves shirt. This he would do unmindful of his own failing health. He was totally consumed by his passion for GK and innate love for the poor, for after all he considered himself as one. Yet, despite his economic status, you just have to hear him and you will be amazed by the faith in God he has. When you hear him gives his testimony at how God worked in his life, whether in small or big things , you will not miss his sincerity; he would almost always be teary-eyed.

He could have gone to South Korea for a re-contract as an OFW, but he was prevented by a burning desire to contribute his God given talent to the GK Work. In GK works, he probably found there someone more than either Solomon or Jonah. God is there.

He was no engineer. In fact was a tricycle driver plying the Bayan Nova- Capri route, but when there was nobody who would answer to call for leaders on the ground, he made himself available. Submission, humility.

Then one day, that was sometime August, two years ago, under the heat of the sun in Remarville, he just collapsed. One week later he was dead.

Until now, how he conducted himself as a GK worker, continues to inspire those who still have real passion for the poor. He touched us by his faith and dedication; and showed the real meaning of loving thy neigbor.

I just want to salute this brother now that Remarville is hot in this blog.

Hi:

Like Pader Tulabing, it appears that Frank Padilla, Easter Playboys/ Bunnies and Salvador Mecias, to name just some of them, have been whippled and pulped - here.

NO, from their pulp we don't get any orange juice at all (TE, tama ka, Brod!). From squeezing all the above, we should be getting the same 'grape-juices' (na hala, pag-order unsa nga juice ug flavor imong gusto! - there, just order your own favored juice: wrath, jealousy, pride, prejudice, ignorance, laziness, gluttony, skin diseases - bun-i,pangatol, kurikiong, bugas-bugas, etc., he-he).

Seriously, kaso na lang ata ang naiwang lutasin (the legal battle is about all that is left to be waged), and we soon be just "bystanders".

Gud, so friend CD takes a rest, and we silently but steadily do our evangelization, all of us.

HAW, HAW...NOW, NOW, ANONYMOUS:

Yes, TE's principle of the orange juice does apply to FAP, his minions, the Vicar of the Diocese of Dumaguete, and Salvador Mecias (an ‘alias’ which may actually have an 'anti-matter', so may be real, too).

If all of them have ‘kurikong’ (reportedly a fungus-type of skin disease) as jestingly intimated above, then squeezing their skins to pulp will only yield 'k' fluids, not anything tasteful like orange juice. Yet, this 'kadiri' of a skin disease may only be skin-deep, although the psychological effects would be far-reaching.

In contrast, other disgraceful kinds of "fluids" can come from the grapes of wrath, sloth, pride, gluttony, envy, greed, and lust growing lusciously in the hearts of FAP and his minions, to which the skin-deep ‘kurikong’ is no equivalent at all!

But thanks for the banter…for ushering in the street-level promos of local cure-alls against skin irritations and diseases (also to include: an-an, ap-ap, pangatol, nuka-nuka, kaspa, pinaakan sa lamok ug pulgas, pinaakan sa lamigas, etc.) to highlight the contamination of our well-being in CFC, as well as to humour us. Ha, ha, ha!

With some 'clean' humor brought in sometimes, all thoughts about leaving or resting can vanish... as Shakespeare: "...all losses are restored and sorrows end."

it just dawned on me, where is Frank and Gerry's eldest son?

i mean is he part of any organization or community? religious?

aren't we supposed to be together as one big family? united?

has the founder lost his charism?

I would like to share with you a nice article from the CBCP news. I guess all of us should reflect on Bishop Alo's message.

PRELATE SAYS MANY ARE WORSE HYPOCRITES
MATI CITY, July 21, 2008 –Bishop Patricio Alo said that many are apparently clean and orderly in the outside but have worse and wicked hidden agenda inside.

Alo said this wicked agenda inside prevalent among the many people today is called “the worse hypocrisy or pakitang-tao or palabas.”

“(We can see this) by easily judging people for corruption, immorality, lust, pride, laziness, and other vices, and even comparing nations and gauze their level of wickedness,” Alo said in his column, “Truth Sets Us Free.”

Alo, known for being a soft-spoken prelate said that for all these deep-seated vices of humanity the only remedy is the grace of the savior Jesus Christ.

“I mean His grace because He is God-made-man in the sense that He took our human nature to save us from our sins,” he said.

He also added sincere repentance on the part of the offender as a remedy.

Alo also said that the seven capital sins are the road to ruin.

“They (Seven Capital Sins) precisely express the attachment to worldly realities from which only God’s grace can liberate,” he said, adding:

“God’s grace comes through prayer and God’s word. It’s not money that is the root of evil but the seven inordinate loves or capital sins: pride, covetousness (or avarice), lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth.”

Alo also pointed out that in concrete the Church offers God’s word, diverse prayers and the sacraments as aids and channels of grace for the erring humanity.

“Without the grace of Jesus, our world would be living in darkness and the shadow of death,” ended Alo quoting a passage from the Bible. (Mark S. Ventura)

God bless us all.

TO KAPATID AT GK REMARVILLE

1. Sa ngayon, wala pa kaming magawa na material para sa inyo dahil malayo kami sa Luzon; at best, what we can do is attack the Evil sa loob ng mga taong walang CFC spirit, kahit nasa FFL at nagpakunwaring mga CFC.

2. Kung siya man ay abugado, may the Lord God twist the brains of Brother Jun J. to argue in favor of love, brotherhood and unity, favor of the interest of CFC brethren they have discriminated against.

3. May Frank Padilla itch for the interest of the CFC brethren who have stayed united and commited to the cause of CFC and GK. May he see the light and command that common sense, sanity, reason, love, and kindness abide in the heart of his followers, especially those who have held on to the GK project in Remarville despite his open condemnation of GK.

4. If not, may they not contract the dreaded and itchy "kurikong" skin disease that has been bantered about above, although by having such, the destitute CFC brethren will be able to recoup their good senses laughing to their hearts' content as FAP et al scratch out and shout down the extreme itchiness toward Timbuktu.
He-he.
