Nostalgia

1: the state of being homesick
2: a wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for return to or of some past period or irrecoverable condition

At first I thought the word applies. After seeing the video, I thought, no it ain't.

Have a great weekend, Bro!

Nice way of cooling down the heat!!!

Indeed, we all pray for our dear brethren who made a decision to leave but still hang on to the thought that they have NOT left. May your flight home be safe as we all lovingly await your return soon.

Keep our hearts focused on Jesus Christ, dear CFC brethren and let our lives provide the light that would guide back our "lost" brothers & sisters. As we welcome them back, we can truly rejoice and sing, "BOOM DE AH DAH!!!"

God bless,

Is it possible to compile the topics in this blog into a sequential form?(a printable form like a book) from the start of the split up to this period? We can save these expose' and data in the future for our grands, so that they may know the truth..

Out of topic ito but relevant to current happenings.

If you look at the front page of Philstar today, monday, we have the picture of a nice couple being wed by the Bishop of Bataan who used to be enamoured with CFC until Snow white and a guy named FAP convinced him that there is just unacceptable "veering away" of CFC from the church , ergo, napahalo na ang bishop sa gulong inumpisahan ni FAP at nawala ng parang bula matapos na bilihin natin ang hindi maibentang Cathechism Books from him (courtesy of no one else except Snow white herself who promised the bishop na papakyawin natin lahat na cathechism books na unsold.

Eh, ano ang message ng picture at item sa newspaper today na sabi ni bishop of Bataan ay "good man and good son" si Consehal Joseph Juico who much earlier was in the news for sponsoring a controversial resolution in Q.C. allowing people (mostly Catholic residents) to choose among a menu of family planning and birth control methods including artificial methods na DEFINITELY ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO THE CHURCH. Tapos, sinabi pa ng ama ni Joseph, na si Philip Juico, na isang leader daw ng Ligaya ng Panginoon, " Joseph was born a Catholic, practices his Catholic faith and will remain a Catholic... and remain respectful of the Church and its leaders, NOTWITHSTANDING WHAT IS CLEARLY AN HONEST DIFFERENCE OF OPINION BETWEEN HIM AND SOME CHURCH PERSONALITIES."

I have no problem with that statement and neither, I suppose, ang bishop ng Bataan who even officiated the wedding. 3. Ang message coild be - "OK naman ito, medyo different lang ang opinion ng groom sa simbahan" kaya no problem. Kapag CFC, big problem!

I am confused! Eh bakit ayaw lang nating i-follow ang suggestion ng 3 bishops including that of Bataan na huwag mag-election last 2007 (not a doctrinal nor moral matter ang election ng council ng CFC, ha!) eh ki-nastigate kagad tayo at sabi eh nag-veer daw tayo at pinag-public apology pa?!

Bishops: ano ba talaga ang tama at ano ang mali? Depende na lang ba sa mood ninyo? Hindi ko kino-condemn ang mga Juicos. Entitled sila sa kanilang "opinions" about our Catholic doctrines but I can not stand the duplicity of our Church leaders, both lay and clergy. Bloggers, sorry. Out of topic ako but di ko maiwasan na ilabas ang feelings ko at tampo sa mga church leaders natin. I will remain respectful of them but I will continue to question ang kanilang duplicitous mssages.

Latest from the SG:

This is the spirituality of division. In God’s hands, division can lead to multiplication!

For CFC, the crisis was about the veering away from our authentic charism of evangelization and family life renewal, in favor of the social dimension of the gospel. But we do not question the heart of those among our brethren who desire to help the poor. Remember that this was our common work and calling at the turn of the third millennium. Now with the split, we in CFC-FFL are focused on evangelization and family life, while those of our brethren in CFC-GK are focused more on building communities among the poor.

Now just like the religious congregations (Franciscans, Carmelites), we look to creative unity despite the split. Thus we have proposed one big CFC family but with two distinct and separate branches. We can celebrate anniversaries together, we can serve the diocese in pro-life together, we can exchange resources, and so on.

Whether this proposal is accepted or rejected, our posture in CFC-FFL is not to burn our bridges, not to malign or attack our separated brethren, not to retaliate for wrongs done against us, and to pray for our detractors. We will seek not to deepen the rift, even as we speak the truth and long for peace with justice.

Wow, I couldn't believe he will say one thing and in the next breath say the opposite. First he hits us in the head again for the Nth time with the tired "veering away" cliche and then pretends to offer the peace pipe to us. He forgives us for the wrong done by CFC to the Easter group. What wrong did we do? who separated from what? Who stood up and walked away from their brothers and sisters during an annual exercise called election of leaders. He says that they will not deepen the rift but continues to clarify and emit their own versions of any pronouncement of CFC leadwrs including TM. Now who keeps deepening the rift? Aber? Sino?

Then he adds that they are focised on evangelization while we are focused on social work. Come on SG, lies will not take you nor anyone of your friends to heaven. Ikaw na ang nagsabi na halos 10-15%lang ng CFC members and involved sa GK at the time when you were still trumpeting GK on stage (remember when you still convincingly spoke for GK before you veered away from your talks?). The rest of CFC were involved in evangelization then and still are now. Kayo ang nagpipilit mag-mukhang may social conscience din kaya nangaagaw ng villages at tinatatakan ng restoration village.

You even have the gumpton to offer na sabay na lang tayong mag-celebrate ng anniversary at mag-exchange ng resources. Duh! Eh humiwalay na nga kayo at iba na kayo, di ba. Sinubukan nyo pa ngang i-register sa SEC yung bago ninyong community, remember? Nahihiya na kayo sigurong mag-lagay ng tarpaulin claiming you are now 27 years old kaya gusto mo na ngayon na officially sasabay na kayo ng anniversary! Oh my gosh!

Sorry for my outburst pero .... nakaka-pikon ang latest letter ni FAP a.k.a. as SG a.k.a. as keeper of the charism a.k.a. as charismatic founder of CFC. Mag CLP na nga lang ako.

Paradise to be regained,
Dante

I wonder what SG truly has in mind. My level of trust for SG is very low now. Last year when we read his first emails, my husband used to say..." he speaks from both sides of his mouth" I didn't understand what my husband meant then...but after one ...I do now.

I'm bewildered as to how our free-thinking brethrens in FFL continue to tolerate Frank's insult to their God-given intelligence.

An e-mail has been blasted by S.G. trumpeting that there is "spirituality in division". Honestly, I did NOT read the e-mail verbatim because I believe that it was merely a justification of the act of dividing what was once a united body of CFC.

I am just curious if there will be any "rejoinder" or "counter-comments" coming from a certain Salvador Macias.

Will the real Salvador Macias stand up, please and make your arguments heard? Affirmative or otherwise, please!!!

Thanks,
DBC

FAP is really confused!

In his last email blast, he calls his group "CFC-FFL".

If you go to their Starmall office now, they are bannering "CFC Foundation Inc." as their name.

so what is it?

boom de ah dah!

There's no reason to be bewildered Kapatid. Just bear in mind that not ALL that FAP is saying should be dismissed outright as falsities, while everything that's coming from your side of the fence is gospel truth. Don't you guys get bored of reading comments that ALWAYS agree with your pre-conceived understanding of the issues, that CFC-FFL is always wrong and CFC-IC is always right?

But they are not here; so, might as well refute myself. Pfffft...

Hi FFL-Global...I don't quite get it. Now you are saying that CFC-IC is always right and FFL is always wrong. Why are you now putting everything in reverse. We are defending because your SG a.k.a. keeper of charism a.k.a. prophet of the times is painting us who were left behind as veering away and all sorts of squid tactics to justify his creating his own group.

Let me tell you my own experience. Your SG last year visited NJ in Jersey City and he said and I quote "...who are they to judge me, they do not know what is in my mind...they do not know what is in my heart...". Ask Joe de Leon if he did not say that or Ed Yamba or Boyet Dompor because all of that are in the tapes and videos. Now comes your SG's 'way forward #5' "...While there are those who say they will not choose because they are for unity and thus will stay put for the moment, staying put means staying with the IC. Thus, not to choose is already to choose."

At that time, my HH are still studying the situation hence we were still staying put.

You see, your SG do not want to be judged but in your SG's pronouncements, he already judged many of us. I can only say one thing...THAT is hypocrisy (if it is not, then tell me what it is.

To anynymous who wonders why we can't be bored here with comments that are ALWAYS favorable to us, wakeup! We are DEFENDERS,we cannot be happy satisfied with people or their ideas that are OFFENSIVE to us.

To CD (or the network): the full version of this guy's (anonymous') post does not automatically appear. Today is August 10, yet the comments that open are still those on August 8 (Oh, well, maybe this approximates that of the boring Easter Group/FFL version of a blog! Please wake up, too!)

To all, especially you,Anonymous FFL. You may want to engage in a real discussion that recognizes disagreements there in 'Questioning Faith' thread. The discussions are civil, with the discussants not becoming disagreeables despite the differences.

To all: thanks for the warm reception of the video, I really appreciate it :-) God be with you.

Sometimes, I get the itch of making another video, this time about the Easter Group and their ways. I've yet to make a flow, but I've got the music as well as a potential title: "The Battle Hymn of the Easter Group" (paraphrased from the American original).

Out of love for them (as God calls us to love one another), I've chosen not to do it.
