Hear Their Plea

I just wanted to draw your attention to these comments.

GK Beneficiary ng Remarville has left a new comment on your post "So It's True":

GK Benificiary

GK Beneficiary has left a new comment on your post "So It's True":

Mali ba yung TUMULONG PARA SA MGA KAPATID NATING CFC Beneficiaries.

Mike Santos gives us an update:

mike santos has left a new comment on your post "A Call To Arms Pt 2":

in light of the recent event --remarville delisting and eviction--

My dad sent a SMS to Jun Junia and requested a dialogue that reads

... There is far greater joyful reason to UNITE, than to DIVIDE.. let's meet and resolve issues Re: remarville, gk magsaysay and other concern...

let's pray for this to happen!!!

Friends, this Remarville issue is far from over. I know we've committed to prayers and gatherings on their behalf, please help me keep this issue at the forefront. If only half of the things I'm hearing about the International Village beneficiaries and their plight are truly happening, it is still a major WRONG that must be put RIGHT.

Let us pray for God to touch the souls of the men at the root of this travesty, and allow them to care once again for their less fortunate brethren, without prejudice to what community they choose to belong to.

To our IC,

Please assure us that you are doing everything to help our brothers/sisters in Remarville. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Thanks & God bless!

Thank you,CFC Toronto!

I was getting frustrated that CD's pleas here to keep the Remarville issue alive has been lent to unwilling, deaf ears...

Well, another seven (7) days will be passing by us today...Let's keep this issue alive.

As long as there is a helpless child or two, who long for God's sparkle in their parents' eyes; as long as those children's puzzled minds struggle to rest in God's grace of hopeful future expressed in the confidence built in their parent's faith of a loving community; as long as our hearts can mourn at injustice, lack of charity, and inhumanity; as long as those Remarville children and brethren live in a 'bastardized' GK community, we cannot rest to howl and raise our cries to high heavens for GOD'S WRATH AND JUSTICE.

Yes, we wish our IC and/or GK Board were doing something concrete to address the Remarville issue; else, provide information of what they are doing to ease the pain of our affected brethren there.

GOD BLESS US ALL.

I just want to echo the call of my fellow bloggers to IC and GK leaders to feed us with long awaited info on positve moves that they have taken to resolve these issues which are affecting the lives of some of the beneficiaries of this GK village.
Furthermore, partners and donors of existing and future villages need assurances that this incident is an exception rather than the rule.
God bless us all.

To all bloggers...
We need to do more than this. Beyond the principle of the thing the reality is that these brothers and sisters need a place where they can live and raise their children in peace. A place of love where they can nurture their dreams. Can anyone of us really imagine how it feels to live in uncertainty every single day?

I recall being in between jobs a few years ago. For a time, we lived off our savings, trying to make it last as long as possible because we didn't know when the next payday would be. We had to cut back on everything and were in danger of losing our house. There were mornings when I'd wake up with a heavy heart, terrified to my bones and feeling like a condemned man with his head on a chopping block, or having Damocles' sword swinging above my head. I was sure it would fall, the only question was when. Everyday was a day of uncertainty. Let me tell you, it wasn't about living. It was about surviving. When our lives are reduced to the point where the only thing that matters is surviving, it is not a place for dreams.

But God is good. It is His grace that brought us through and continues to sustain us. Every time I see a GK picture, or pictures from Darfur or Myanmar, one my first thoughts is "there but for the grace of God, go I."

Mga kapatid, we have to do more than just be informed.

Why don't we relocate them? I pledge one of the houses. I don't have this money yet but I will. I know I will. As Atilla the hun said when he crossed the Alps, "we will either find a way or make one." Let us rise in solidarity mga kapatid. Why don't we build a blogger's village for them? Let us show that while for JunJ and FAP it is a time to destroy, our Spirit teaches us it is a time to build once again.

Thank you TE. That's a very good shot in the arm. Yes, CD - let there be a "BLOGGERS' VILLAGE". Let the GK Board or IC constitute the project team leader to start the fund mobilization to relocate our affected brethren.

CALLING THE GK BOARD AND THE CFC IC. And calling all bloggers to do the pledges for the BLOGGERS' VILLAGE.

PRAISE GOD. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY!

Creating a "Bloggers' Village" is a very nice idea. Let's move on to have this realized to give hope to our brothers/sisters not only in Remarville but also in other GK area affected by the split. Once started, let the IC, of course, handle it. Let us witness God's hands working on this. God bless us all CFC-IC.

i agree! let's help our brethren beneficiaries affected by this conflict.

but let's not forget that we also need to CORRECT the culprits! whether they were once CFC or not!

we just can't let them getaway with it!

Let's get this started mga Kapatid. Let's not forget that each day that passes is a day of fear, frustration and pain for our delisted brothers and sisters in Remarville. We must make sure their wait is as short as possible.

I know we only have 3 pledges as of now but faith tells me that, as the movie said it, if we build it people will come.

Can someone please take the lead in contacting the GK board. Perhaps they already have a prepared location. Someone also needs to contact the delisted CFC brothers and sisters. They have to say yes to this as well. I apologize for being unable to do this myself, but I live 8,000 miles away (at least that's what the frequent flyer program gives me everytime I go home).

CD, could we ask you to coordinate communications on this? Thanks, bro.

Let the glory of the Lord rise among us bloggers. Let it rise!

Hopefully, the GK Exec Director or the GK Board (which is the IC also) are acting on this problem by now. But with the apparently continued silence from their side (until now), it seems like it is an inaction or indecision on their part. I hope I am wrong in my assumption. But I am sure that CD will disclose here any latest info or updates that he can have access to or receive from the IC regarding the moves they are making regarding this controversy. But so far, it seems that ‘no news is bad news’.
