Danny assigned to secure Gate 1.

The day before, I was asked by our chapter head if I want to volunteer as one of the securities for the event. I was too exhausted from work on the day itself. Hindi kasi ako nakapag siesta he he. Pero, service kasi ito para kay God and His people so I went. By God’s grace I was given additional strength and re-energized (parang baterya he he).

Funny thing is, when it rained hard, sa lusog namin dalawa ni Bro. Danny, nagkasya kami (nagsiksikan) sa isang umbrella. When the parking was already full, I then help in manning the gate for the persons on foot. At first it was a breeze. Madalang pa kasi yung mga taong dumarating. Sa totoo lang nahilo ako kakatingin ng stickets sa dagsa ng taong dumating after the rain.

When I heard that they were already starting the Human Cross, I asked to be excused so that I can participate in that momentous event. Iba talaga ang feeling. God is really with us that day. I actually commented na ”Maganda siguro kung ang angle shot ng camera galing sa helicopter.” May nag comment “ Kinunan na tayo ni God sa taas”.

After the mass, God blessed us with the sprinkle of rain. Mas meaningful, instead of ending it with a praise fest.

Tapos ang galing pa ni Lord, may "blessing" pa immediately after the mass, when he "sprinkled" holy water on us with his very light drizzle.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-67252154064218549092008-05-17T14:06:00.000+08:002008-05-17T14:06:00.000+08:00I wished I was there!God Bless CFC.CFConlyI wished I was there!

God Bless CFC.

CFConlyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-42428376493468555172008-05-17T13:26:00.000+08:002008-05-17T13:26:00.000+08:00Questions for Frank Padilla- 1- For the past 25 y...Questions for Frank Padilla-
1- For the past 25 years when you were the top leader of CFC, how many times did you ever consult Bishop G. Reyes, our spiritual director, on matters concerning organization, election, etc.?
2- You claimed that CFC have been veering away from their mission/vision and that you have complained about it for some time already, but the situation remains the same! As top leader of CFC, you were unable to influence the other council members ? Either you are very incompetent as their top leader, or your claims are not true at all?

3- As an elder in CFC, I have never heard you complain about the veering away in any our 2x/month Mission Core Groups Gathering. Or did I ever read about it in our Ugnayan magazines ! Did you ever think of bringing the matter to Bishop Reyes ?

4- When you finally resign on Feb 13, 2007 at the MCG Teaching Nite at Xavier School, did you ever consult or make paalam to Bishop G. Reyes before the crucial decision ?

5- What kind of top leader are you anyway- breaking away from his community, forming his own group, maligning his former community thru the bishops, media and internet, and trying to build himself up upon the ruins of his former community ? Doesn't your conscience ever bother you ?
6- Can I leave the following for your reflection?-
*You can not fool all of the people all of the time.
*Adversities and trials reveal our true nature and character.
*Whom the Gods wish to destroy, He first make mad- with power, with pride, and with envy !
*Reputation is what people think you are. So why don’t we hire the whole available space of the World Trade Center to ensure we are not rained-out?

I think it is high time we change our format….. the grand parades gathering Sectors and Provinces are getting stale no matter how many colorful flags, streamers, dancers, color designated Tee Shirts you put in to hype attendance.

While that has done wonders in the past, whether done outside or inside Araneta Coliseum, they were truly awesome and a beauty to behold. But we’ve proven the point.. CFC gatherings are really joyful.

The human cross that we all did last Pentecost should be the last mass movement of CFC members that we should do. I think that should be one memorable highlight we all should joyfully remember in a while.

IC members please do not take this as criticism. We can still do field activity, but may I suggest such should be biased towards having the kids / youth / young SFCs and the forever-young members of HOLD in games (specially featuring Filipino kids’ games) and or dances.

Another thing, the June sunshine will be very minimal as most of those days will be rainy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-86196325422664044822008-05-14T10:11:00.000+08:002008-05-14T10:11:00.000+08:00All I can say is WOW Amazing! That Pentecost Rally ...All I can say is WOW Amazing! That Pentecost Rally was one for the books. I know other communities had that celebration as well, though not as grand. Would have wanted the initial plans to happen, the one planned for Luneta Grandstand, together with Fokolare,Bukas Loob sa Diyos and other Christian Renewal Communities. I don't know why it did not fall through,God had other more dramatic plans specially for CFC the one and only. My wife and I had painful bodies that day. I had lost hope that we will be able to attend. We attended the 6 PM anticipated mass just in case we became up to attending, my wife took some medication because she could not tolerate the pain in her knee and by the time we were about to leave the church the rain poured. Had dinner in Gateway to get out of the rain and after dinner we played it by ear, we said to ourselves that God simply sent us the rain to cool the Pentecost Celebration. At around 8:45 no more rain and proceeded to Amoranto. Had difficulty parking but persevered and entered the stadium. It was full but quite, GK group was performing. Things livened up when worship songs were sung by the 29 AD and later Kenosis. And so they say the rest is history. We joined the worship and all the pain in our bodies vanished, thank you Lord thank you Holy Spirit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-57146610281256712612008-05-14T07:31:00.000+08:002008-05-14T07:31:00.000+08:00ano ba yan!kaya pala kapit sa patalim sa pangalang...ano ba yan!

kaya pala kapit sa patalim sa pangalang CFC eh...
maaalis na naman si FAP... tsk tsk tskAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-3770657910362064502008-05-14T00:40:00.000+08:002008-05-14T00:40:00.000+08:00To Timothy1wala pa yatang 5 yrs kong 2005 tayo na ...To Timothy1

wala pa yatang 5 yrs kong 2005 tayo na recognize..kaya nga pilit ilagay ni FAP ang CFC sa pangalan ng bagong grupo nya para meron siyang personality..kaya mabuti siguro na base on the vatican statutes..tang galin na sila officially as members of CFC for all the reasons that is found in the vatican statutes..hindi na kailangan sabihin pa ng council na divisive ang pagtanggal sa kanila kasi that is the truth..masakit pero yon ang katotohanan..para matapos na lahat..total voluntary naman silang umalis..mag sulat na rin officially to vatican regarding this matter para mapalitan siya as representative of cfc...at mabigyan ng appointment si JT ng vatican..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-69668326811600449792008-05-14T00:39:00.000+08:002008-05-14T00:39:00.000+08:00To Timothy1wala pa yatang 5 yrs kong 2005 tayo na ...To Timothy1

wala pa yatang 5 yrs kong 2005 tayo na recognize..kaya nga pilit ilagay ni FAP ang CFC sa pangalan ng bagong grupo nya para meron siyang personality..kaya mabuti siguro na base on the vatican statutes..tang galin na sila officially as members of CFC for all the reasons that is found in the vatican statutes..hindi na kailangan sabihin pa ng council na divisive ang pagtanggal sa kanila kasi that is the truth..masakit pero yon ang katotohanan..para matapos na lahat..total voluntary naman silang umalis..mag sulat na rin officially to vatican regarding this matter para mapalitan siya as representative of cfc...at mabigyan ng appointment si JT ng vatican..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-53984638886010924752008-05-13T23:44:00.000+08:002008-05-13T23:44:00.000+08:00I got curious about The Pontifical Council for the...I got curious about The Pontifical Council for the Laity and I read this on their Vatican website:

" 4.2. It was not raining yet but along the way rain started to pour. When we were at the Baclaran area, rain was terrible. I was silently praying and hoping that the rain is confined only in the south and that in QC its dry and not raining. i was tempted to text friends in the QC area to check, but i did not because i know God would listen.

Rains started to become stronger as we enter Manila. but while in the quiapo area, rains start to quiet down, it was heavy drizzle na lang and not as strong.

we passed along Espana and we saw a lot of floods plus some traffic in the area. I prayed as i looked at the traffic and the floods. I prayed that the rain fully stop so as not to dampen the spirit of our members and the youth/children with us in the bus. We dont want them to get wet.

Finally, we arrived at around 820pm in Amoranto. I thanked God because there was no more rain. as we entered the complex, there were arleady people in the grandstand around 30% filled, gathered at the center. The oval/velodrome was empty of people, chairs are still stacked up with no one to use them.

And then just about a few minutes after we entered the stadium, the program began. We came in just in time. :)

As the program progresses, my sight was on the grandstand which continued to fill. People continue to arrive, people started to fill the grandstand at both ends. then people started to fill the oval as well. Stacked chairs were lined up inside the oval. and people continue to fill the grandstand to around 60-70% capacity. people were singing, dancing and clapping their hands during the festivities because the rains stopped. i was saying to my seatmate, ang lakas talaga natin kay Lord.

just when the mass finished, some drops of rain were felt - yun na nga yung final blessing coz i think the rain did not pour anymore. its as if it was there to bless the people.

i will not talk about the program anymore, but i saw God's hand in all these. the rain stopped just to allow the program to proceed... to form the human cross... and to celebrate the Pentecost mass... ang galing talaga ni Lord!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6165175175127877464.post-23045087226081472682008-05-12T11:01:00.000+08:002008-05-12T11:01:00.000+08:00Heart warming...singing Lord Jesus Enthrone You as...Heart warming...singing Lord Jesus Enthrone You as the human cross is forming.

Great experience and encounter.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10424258308158242640noreply@blogger.com
